Fried rice........Lleftover rice



This is another recipe of leftover food in our daily food rice is the main food which is cooked in excess. there are many recipes but here i make fried rice in chines style.
Ingredients
leftover boiled rice-2cups
carrot-2 chopped
cabbage-1/2 cup finely chopped
peas-1/4 cup boiled
beans-4tbs
capsicum-1small cut into length wise
onion-1 chopped
green chili-2
soya sauce-1tsp
oil
salt to taste

Method
wash all veggies and boiled except capsicum in microwave for 3 minutes in little water.heat oil in a pan ad onion and fry it .when onion is transulate add all the veggies and green chilies. fry it for 3-4 minutes add salt and rice. mix well add soya sauce. cover it for few minutes when all the veggies and spices mix in rice.
now it is ready to eat.
Eat with cucumber raita or chutney.

Yellow dal




We cook this dal when we feel like eating something light. This dal is consumed in North India as tur dal is consumed in south India. This dal is a mix of massoor/red dal and moong dal. It

Cheesy Sweet Rolls

This recipe i saw in amul cheese recipes i make some variation as i replace bread instead of puff rice .otherwise recipe is same tTry it it is delicious dessert for change
Ingredients:
ROLLS
bread-6slices soaked in water and squeezed out
khoya-30gm
oil for fry

STUFFING

Cheese40gm

khoya-40gm

dry fruits-almond raisins,chironji,coconut ,kaju-3tbsp finely cut

sugar 2tsp
                                                                         

SYRUP

SUGAR-100GM

WATER 150GM

CARRADMON-2

Method
Heat water in a pan &add sugar and carradomn .Boil it and make one thread sryup.keep aside.

cut the corners of bread and soak in water and squeezed out.mix well with khoya

now fry the khoya on low fire when done add cheese,dry fruits &sugar in it.

Make balls of bread and flatten on palm in oval shape.keep the mixture inbetween and fold the both sides gentley.make all rolls.

    


Heat oil in a pan when fully heat slow the .fire and fry rolls in it.



when till brown and done add in the syrup cover and leave for 15 minutes.stire inbetween. it is ready.

serve hot decorated with silver foil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spinach with dals.....different style


I am posting this recipe as i see one event winter vegetables . I used chana dal and urd dal with spinach.It is delicious and can be tried for different taste. this dish oftenly prepared by my friend i tasted in her house and relish it so share with u all.As in winter spinach we get very soft and fresh. It comes out as dal.
Ingredients
spinach-1big bunch
black haif urd dal-1/2 cup
chana dal-1/4 cup
ginger garlic paste-1tbsp
onion-1finely chopped
tomato-1chopped
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
red chili powder-1/4 tsp
coriander powder-1/4 tsp
hing-pinch of
green peas-2tbsp boiled
salt to taste
oil2tbsp

Method
wash spinach and cut it. wash both dals and mix with spinach. pressure cook it with little water& salt,turmeric for  5-6 minutes after one whistle on slow fire. when all the pressure released mash  coarsely with electric masher.Now heat oil in a pan ad hing and  fry onion when changed color add ginger garlic paste.Add all the dry masalas and fry. now add tomato and peas and when oil leaves sides add mashed spinach to it .mix well. it is ready to eat.use little cream or deshi ghee on top.
EAT WITH CHAPATI OR RICE......

Stuffed pratha ........leftover beans and potato veg

this is another recipe of leftover.  Whenever i cook beans ad potato stire i used it once and left veg i used to make pratha. as my whole family like pratha more than stire. try this it is really a yum pratha.
Ingredients
wheat flour-2cups
leftover of beans stire-1cup
onion-1finely chopped
green chili-1
coriander leaves
salt to taste
oil for fry
Method
knead the wheat flour ad keep aside.Mash the beans veg and add all the ingredients in it. mix well. make small balls of flour. roll the one chapati on rolling board.keep aside.roll another chapati and spread the veg mixture on this chapati.now cover it with already rolling chapati. roll it .heat griddle and roast the pratha using oil. when one side done roast other side using oil . this crispy pratha is ready to eat
Eat with butter, curd or pickle.

Soup .......... left over of rice water





This recipe of soup is without any hard work. we cook rice and due to health conscious we drain  its water. and from this water i make this soup. it is good in  taste and easy to make.
Ingredients
rice leftover water-3cups
mi veggies 1/2 cup(Carrot cauliflower,beans)cut finely and boiled
capsicum-1tsp cut in small pieces
cornflour-2tsp
black pepper-1/2 tsp
salt to taste

Boil rice water in a pan add cornflour in it if water is thick add less cornflour.now add all the vegetables ,black pepper and salt. boil for 5 minutes . it is ready to sip.
garnish with cream &coriander leaves.

Rasgulla.....Happy New Year


A year has gone by and have left us with beautiful memories. New year is welcoming us with more happpiness in store for all of us, and of course more and more recipes. This new year I start with traditional and typical sweet of India.BANGALI RASGULLA.Itried it 1st time it goes well


I am also grateful and thankful to all my blogger friends whose encouragement has helped me in achieving what I started for last year...My cooking blog...
Ingredienta
milk-4cups
vinegar-3tsp
sugar 1cups
water-3-1/2 cup
cardamon-3-4

Method
oil milk in a pan add vintage to it . Milk will crud led when water is separated switch off the stove sieve in thin cloth and pure cold water on this paneer . Now tide the cloth and put weight on it so extra water comes out.  Rub the paneer with palm gently and make smooth paste. make small balls and keep aside.
Now boil water in a pressure cooker .add sugar and cardamon when boil add the paneer balls and put the lid of pressure cooker.when  one whistle came slow the fire and keep it for 5 miuntes.now switch off the gas and let the steamed out fully. open the lid . take rasgulls and again put the sugar water on fire when it becomes thick add rasgulls and chill it in fridge.
yummy rasgullas are ready to eat!!!!
