DURGA ASHTMI


Today is durga ashtmi in north india it is celebrated as disribute the halwa puri and chana to little girls age of up to 8-9 years gift is also given.
Durgashtami, or Durga Ashtami, is the eight day of the Navaratri and Durga Puja celebrations. Durgastami is also known as Mahashtami and is one of the important days of Durga Puja and afasting is undertaken by many people.

I also do the ashtmi at my house which i share with my blogger friends

PRASHAD OF ASHTMI

.WHEAT RAWA HALWA :
RAWA-1CUP
 DESI GHEE -1/3 CUP
WATER 4CUP
SUGAR I CUP
DRY FRUIT ANY
Fry rawa in a ghee .When fried add water and sugar and stire till it leaves the sides of pan .it is ready

ZEERA CHANA[black gram]
BLACL GRAM-200GM
ZEERA -1TSP
CORIANDER POWDER-1TSP
RED CHILLI POWDER-1/2 TSP
SALT TO TASTE

METHOD:
Boil chana in pressur cooker for 25 minutes.Heat oil in a pan add zeera when crackled add masalas.Mixwell.Add chana and cover it for five minutes with little water. when dried off the fire.

Add2tbsp oil in flour and knead little hard tha chapati. Make small balls and roll it on rolling pin. Fry in the oil'

BREAD FRY WITH POTATOES ON TOP

This recipe is my old friend In our ladies club we share the different recipes In every meeting one member demonstrate her recipe .It is one of those. I tried it once or twice Now i will share with u it is simple and   children. likt it.
Ingrediendts:
bread [wheat]-6 pieces
potatoes-3 boiled and mashed
green chilli-1
coriander powder-1tsp
red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
garam masala-1/2 tsp
amchoor powder-1/4 tsp
cornflour-2tsp
seasame seeds-3tsp
coriander leaves
salt to taste
oil for frying



THIS IDEA IS TAKEN FROM VEG JUNCTION
 Method:
Mix all the ingredients in a bowland mix well.Any other veg can be used in it

Cut the bread in any shape with cutter.

Put the potatoes mixture on top of the bread look as rock.

Make a thin paste of corn flour.Apply cornflour on potatoes.Sprinkle seasam seeds on the top
Deep fry in oil.

It can be rosated on nonstick pan with little oil
Keep on tissue paper so extra oil absorb.

GREEN CHILLY ACHAR N ACHARI SALAN[VEG]




















GREEN CHILLY PICKLE[ACHAR]
INGREDIENTS:
Green chilly-200gm[big chilly]
methi seeds 2tsp
fennel[saunf] 4 tbsp
raiee-3tsbp
turmeric powder-1tsp
lemon juice of 4 lemon
ginger-garlic- paste-150gm
mustard oil 150gm
salt to taste









Method;
wash and wipe chillies when dry cut inti small round pieces






















.Grind all the spices coarsely.





























Heat oil In a pan and cool it.Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.Add oil in it and mix well.






Fill in a glass zar Keep in the sun for 5-6 days
It is ready to eat





























CHILLY SALAN[VEG]
INGREDIENTS:
chillies-100gm
raiee-2tsp






fennel-3tsp
amchoor 1tsp






coriander powder-2tsp
garlic paste 1tsp






potato paste-1tsp






salt to taste






oil[any]3tbsp






Method:






Grind saunf raiee. wash and wipe chillies. Slit chilly in between. Mix all the ingredients except oil.






Fill masala in to chillies












.Heat oil in a pan add chillies and fry for 3-4 minutes.Now add little water and cover it till become soft .

Today i have to share few awards  with my blogger friends.I am really feel proud when i saw sunshine award pass on to me blogger friend Amirtha Kalyani I am greatful to Amritha thinking of giving me this award I request all the blogger friends to visit her blog She has wonderful space and very tasty,new and delicious recipes.

Today i share with u this homade facial mask which is easily avaible and donot harm the skin. .  This can be used in our daily life without going to parlour.Isaw these on internet .
Homemade Facial Mask Recipes

Cucumber Face
Make a paste by mixing one small cucumber and one cup of oatmeal. Mix one teaspoon of this paste with one teaspoonof yogurt (for oily skin) or milk malai (for dry skin) and leave for 30 minutes and then
rinse with water
Honey Facial Mask.
Rinse your face with warm water to open up the pores. Apply honey and leave for half an hour. Rinse with warm water, then use cold water to close the pores. Rinse with warm water, then use cold water to close the pores.
Oily Skin Mask
Mix 1 tsp. brewer?s yeast with plain yogurt to make a thin mixture. Apply it thoroughly into all the oily areas and leave for 15 - 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water, then use cold water to close the pores.
Dry Skin Mask
Mix 1 tsp. of butter in 1 teaspoon of water. Apply it thoroughly into all the dry areas and leave for 15 - 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water,
Banana Mask for wrinkles
Mash 1/4 banana until very creamy and apply on face and leave for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water, then use cold water to close the pores.
Multani (Gypsum) Mitti Body Mask
Make a paste of multani mitti adding water to the mitti powder. Apply to whole body and hair. Take bath after half an hour.
Banana face mask
Mash half cup of natural yogurt, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 1/4 ripe banana. Apply this pack on face and neck and leave for 10 minutes and then rinse off.
