Microwave Cauliflower....blog hop wednesday


Today is the 3rd week of blog hop wednesday started by Radhika,Today i am paired with Dhivya; there is different type of recipes i choose this recipe bec now it is the season of gobhi.and it is healthy dish wit less ingredients and less time taking. it is simple also ;u all visit her blog for different and tasty cuisines.I make one variation as she does not use onion ginger garlic and tomato.i used a fry paste in this.it is simple with different and its taste is also different from what we cook.
Ingredients
cauliflower--15 florets of gobhi
sambhar powder-2tsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
fry paste of 1onion 1 tsp ginger garlic paste 1tomato
cornflour-2tsp
oil-2tbsp
salt to taste
Method
Boil cauliflower 80%&tender.

Take a microwave bowl.add all the ingredients and mix well.

Cover it and microwave for 7-8 minutes on medium. stire inbetween
It is ready to eat garnish with corriander leaves

Eat with pratha or chapati!!!!

Mahjong Snacks: Sesame Sweet Potato Pongs




This is easy but unique  very simple but different . I saw in art is in the kitchen.
The sugar use in it has11 calories/ 4 grams (1tsp). It is also nutritionally rich & retains all natural mineral & vitamin content present inherent in sugarcane juice. ...
I have observed that these are enjoyed best when eaten right away, even served hot as dessert. Easy to make with few ingredients.

Ingrdients:
 2 cups of boiled sweet potatoes
,1   rice flour,
1 cup muscovado sugar
1cup seasme seeds
Method
Mix potato,rice flourand sugar &make smooth dough.

Make small balls.make thin paste of milk and rice flour .dip balls in it

Roll each ball in plenty of sesame seeds until well coated

.Fry in  oilon slow fire until golden brown. .when one side is brown flip other side
Serve hot this yummy potato pongs

Balushai....traditional sweet




This recipe i think many times to try but never. i saw in many blogs an put effort to try it .so here is the recipe though it is not 100%perfect but in taste it is 100%perfect.
Ingredients
maida-250gm
sugar-250gm
curd-150gm
ghee-50gm
baking soda pinch of
water-100gm
oil for fry

Method
Put heavy bottem pan add sugar and and water and make thick syrup. keep aside.
Take bowl and add all the ingredients .mix well to make a hard dough if it is not assemble use little water.
 Leave it to rest for 1/2 an hour
Make small ball and flatten on palm and press in between
Fry on slow fire so fry in side.
Put the balls in warm sugar syrup for 5-7 minutes
Take out and leave for cooling and dry the the layer of sugar
yum...yum balushai is ready to eat!!!!!

.Brinjal ...Nest ....... A UNIQUE STYLE!!!




This recipe i saw in the ART IN THE KITCHEN blog as the name u can see there every dish is artistically presented . u must visit his blog &find innovative ideas and art of carving.Iam impressed by his art. Though his stuffing is non- vegetarian but i used paneer and potato stuffing.try this taste is yum.Ingredients
long brinjal-2
FOR Stuffing
potatoes 2boiled and mashed
paneer 200gm
tomato-1
onion-1 chopped
green chili-1
ginger garlic paste 1tsp
red chili powder-1/4 tsp
turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
coriander powder-1/2 tsp
salt to taste
oil
Method
wash the brinjal and dry it. cut the top in 3 -4 pieces or as according to the thickness of brinjal.Make a jal setting the pieces.use in between toothpick to attach them.

Now cut the thin pieces of inner side of brinjal


Heat a non stick griddle and with lille oil fry the inner pieces from both sides till done.keep aside

Next fry the jal of top pieces from both sidestill done.





Heat oil in a pan and fry onion add ginger garlic paste and tomato fry till oil leaves sides.Add all the dry masala and fry .Add potato and paneer mix it. cover it for 3-4 minutes so all the masalas mixed.

Now take one bowl and cover it with cling film.
Now we assemble .first put the jal and one layer of stuffing.then put the ineer pieces and cover it .again cover with stuffing doing till the all pieces of inner sides consume. i here cover three times.
now assemble the m tightlywith cling film.it will take the shape.NOow
Now take this to the plate.
cut into small pieces when sering so that each layred should be enjoyed.heat covering with cling film.


It is ready to eat!!!!!!!

Carrot Muthia......Hit 1,00,000...blog hop wednesday

First i thank to all of u that i hit 100,000 It is all ur coopration and encouragement i reached here .Ialso hope ur coopration in future also and hope for follow my blog so i can improve it more.



Today is 2nd week of 2n sedition of blog hop Wednesday started by Radhika.Today i am paired with Veena of veg junction.Veena has wonderful space of traditional and innovative recipes . u mut visit her blog to enjoy the taste of fabulous blog friend. though there rae many recipes but i choose CARROT MUTHIAas i think it is different healthy and fat free .it is perfect for kids who does not eat veggies ' from this they eat it as snack and eat carrot also. Here i add onion try it u will relish it.
Ingredients
whole wheat flour-1cup
rawa-1/2 cup
basen-1/2 cup
carrot-1cup
ginger-garlic paste-1tbsp
turmeric-1/4 tsp
coriander powder-1/2 tsp
fennel seeds powder -1/8 tsp
baking soda-pinch of
gram masala-1/4 tsp
green chili 2-3cut finely
onion -1 chopped
green coriander leaves
 mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
sesame seeds-2tsp
oil 2tbsp
Method
mix all the flours and masalas. add carrot and mix well add little water if needed bec carrot has also its juice.
make thick dough like gattas. roll it in cylindrical shape. steamed this rolls.cool them .then cut into small pieces.

heat oil in a pan &add mustered seeds,when crackled add seasom seeds and small pieces of muthia.toss it so every thing coated to this muthia.
It is ready to eat
Eat with metthi  or green chutney  or u like

I make variation here i tempred with onion,capsicumand tomatoes as we make fried idli.it taste very good so try it also

Onion tomato stire




this veg we make when either there is no vegetable in house or we make jhatpat subji this subji is replacement of chutney and pickle. it is really tasty and yum.
Ingredients
tomatoes-4 chopped length wise
onion-4 chopped
Green chlili-3-4
red chili powder-1/4 tsp
coriander powder-1/2 tsp
turmeric powder-1/4tsp
garam masala-1/8 tsp
coriander leaves
oil-2tbsp

Method
Heat oil in a pan .add onion and fry till transparent .add tomatoes and green chili.fry so the tomatoes become soft.add all the masalas and cover it for 5 minutes .now the oil separates and it is ready.Garnish with coriander leaves.
Eat with pratha orchapati!!!

Wheat flour halwa(GURUDWARA PRASHAD)



flour halwa is a main prasad in gurudwara.

Ingredients:
Wheat flour: 1 cup

Sugar:1 cup

Desi ghee: 1/2 cup
Water: 2 1/2 cups


Wheat flour while frying in ghee
Method:

Heat ghee in a pan and fry wheat flour till it leaves the ghee. Pour water and sugar to it and cook till water absorbs. Cover it for five minutes. It is ready to eat.

In this halwa, dry fruits are not usually used.

Tip:

In order to fry wheat flour faster, use more amount of ghee.

EAT N DRINK SOUP

I had bought some fresh corns which were going waste. So thought of making soup of them and it came out very well. Everybody at home liked it, hence sharing it with all
Ingredients:
Fresh Corn seeds: 1 piece corn
Carrot: 1 tbsp finely chopped and boiled
Beans: 1 tbsp finely chopped and boiled
Capsicum: 1 tbsp finely chopped
Black pepper powder: 1 tsp
White sauce: 2 tsp
Soya Sauce: 1/2 tbsp
Water: 3 cups
Salt: To taste
Method:
Crush half of corn seeds in a grinder. Mix it with the remaining and water and pressure cook for 7 minu
Add all vegetables into it, black pepper, salt, sauces and boil for another 5 minutes. It is now ready to eat.
Variation:
White sauce can be replaced with a paste of corn flour and butter

Baked Cauliflower with white sauce

Ingredients:

Cauliflower - 1small bunch [boiled]
Cottage paneer - 1/2 cup
Cheese[optional] - 1/4cup
White sauce - 1/2 cup
Peas, Carrot - 1 cup blanched
Onion - 2 medium
Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp
Tomato puree - 1/2 cup
Khas-khas - 2tbsp
Coriander powder-1/2tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2tsp
Coriander leaves for garnishing



White sauce and cottage cheese
(White - Symbol of peace)

Method:

Heat oil in a pan and fry onion till transparent. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for 2 minutes. Its texture should be remain white. Now add all the masalas and fry for 5 minutes. Add tomato puree and fry till it leaves oil. Add paneer and paste of khaskhas and fry for another 2 minutes. Now mix peas, carrot and cauliflower, white sauce to it. Place it on a dish and bake it in oven for 5 - 7 minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves before serving.
