This recipe i saw in the ART IN THE KITCHEN blog as the name u can see there every dish is artistically presented . u must visit his blog &find innovative ideas and art of carving.Iam impressed by his art. Though his stuffing is non- vegetarian but i used paneer and potato stuffing.try this taste is yum.Ingredients
long brinjal-2
FOR Stuffing
potatoes 2boiled and mashed
paneer 200gm
tomato-1
onion-1 chopped
green chili-1
ginger garlic paste 1tsp
red chili powder-1/4 tsp
turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
coriander powder-1/2 tsp
salt to taste
oil
Method
wash the brinjal and dry it. cut the top in 3 -4 pieces or as according to the thickness of brinjal.Make a jal setting the pieces.use in between toothpick to attach them.
Now cut the thin pieces of inner side of brinjal
Heat a non stick griddle and with lille oil fry the inner pieces from both sides till done.keep aside
Next fry the jal of top pieces from both sidestill done.
Heat oil in a pan and fry onion add ginger garlic paste and tomato fry till oil leaves sides.Add all the dry masala and fry .Add potato and paneer mix it. cover it for 3-4 minutes so all the masalas mixed.
Now take one bowl and cover it with cling film.
Now we assemble .first put the jal and one layer of stuffing.then put the ineer pieces and cover it .again cover with stuffing doing till the all pieces of inner sides consume. i here cover three times.
