Jhunka.......onion curry


It is Maharashtra dish .though they make it dry .I cook like curry using lot of  onion.Its taste is yummy&canbe used as side dish with rice or pratha roti. choice is ur's:)


Ingredients
beasan-4tbsp
curd-1cup
onion-4cut into lentgh
turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
red chili powder-1/4 tsp
zeera,mustered seeds.dhaniya,methi dana-1tsp
coriander leaves
heeng-pinch of
ghee-1isp
oil-1tbsp
salt to taste


Method
Mix curd and beasan in a bowl.add all the dry masala in it.Add 4cups water.
Heat oil in a pan.add whole masalas in it when crackled add onion and fry till it is fry.
Now add the batter of curd &beasan.When boil cover it and cook till the oil will be seen in sides.
Heat ghee in a pan add heeng &red chili powder .pour on ready curry.
Garnish with coriander leaves.Eat with rice or roti.......

Oats Dosa Rolls........atwist










Ingredients




r
turmeric powder-1/4 tsp



green chili 2



coriander leaves

aw rice-icup



boiled rice-1cup
urd dal-1cup
oats-1cup



puffed rice-1/2 cup



cheese-1cube



green chutney-2tbls



tomato chutney-2tbls



For Stuffing



carrot,peas,potato,beans tomato-2cups



zeera=1/4 tsp





oil



salt for taste






Method:



wash rice and dal and soak it for 4-5 hours.soak oat and puffed rice for 15 minutes.now grind all the



soaked ingredients into smooth paste like dosa batter.

















heat oil in a pan add zeera.when crackled add dry masalas green chili and tomato.fry for some time then add vegetables.add salt and mix well.cover it till done add coriander leaves.keep aside.



Now take non-stick griddle and make 2 dosas.



now take one dosa and apply green mint chutney on it. grate cheese on o it .hot this dosa for 30 seconds so cheese melt little.



now place another dosa on it .apply .tomato chutney on it.place a little stuffing at one side and roll like a mat.



cut into discs and serve hot........

Healthy Veggies Muffins for Breakfast....blog hope wednesday

Today i am paired with Princy of spicy food in event blog hope Wednesday started by Radhika.thankful to Radhika that we met many bloggers and know many delicious and innovative recipes.As i search the blog of Princy find many wonderful dishes .i bookmark many but choose this bec it is healthy easy and quick to make.she has nice space wit gr8 recipes .visit her blog and enjoy the different cuisines.
I make some variation as i used oats with maida and add beans and moong sprouted which make it little more healthy. try this recipe it is really yumm very good in taste

Ingredients
all purpose flour-1cup
oats -1/2 cup
curd-1cup
oil 1/3 cup
vegetables-3/4 cup(onion ,tomato beans sprout green chili,capsicum)
coriander leaves
baking powder-1tsp
baking soda-1/2 tsp
turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
salt to taste

Method
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.add baking powder and baking soda. mix again. now grease the muffins cup and pour this batter 3/4 cup. I bake in microwave for 3-4 minutes. Time is adjusted according to the
quantity.




Eat with any chutney. it is tasty without any chutney

Cabbage Dhokla....A Twist





I try this with batter of idli with little change it is also cook with rawa idli. this different and we can relish its taste and do some innovation.








Ingredients
idli fermented batter-2cups
rawa-2tbls
baking soda-1/4 tsp
cabbage-1 1/2cupfinely chopped
green chili-2
coriander leaves-
oil 2tsp
salt to taste
Tempering
mustered seeds-1tsp
curry patta
green chilies-few cut long
oil







Method
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.grease oil in a thali and pour this batter. steamed it in idli cooker or daily used cooker without weight. test it with stick if it it comes out plain so it is done.




Heat oil in a pan .add mustered seeds. when cracked add curry patta and green chili.fry for a minute and spread on the cooked dhokla. cut it into ur desired design.
Serve it with green or coconut chutney

VEG KABAB &BLOGGING MARTHON

I am happy to be part of Sirivalli's blogging marathon.she has given 7 choices in which i choose starters.i think i will be successful in this event.as Sirivalli has wonderfull blog with innovative and different cuisine she organise many events and very active in his field.do visit her site.My first dish is veg kabab
these kabab can be used as starter it is rich in minerals and vitamins.
Ingredients:
black gram-200gm
onion-2finely chopped
ginger garlic paste-1tbsp
green chill-4
coriander leaves
coriander powder-1tsp
gram masala-1/2tsp
red chili powder-1/2 tsp
salt to taste
oil for shallow fry
Method:.
soak black gram overnight.grind it coarsely

.Mix all the ingredients except oil.Make desired balls. Put non-stick pan on fire and apply little oil.fry kabab on both sides til brown or done.

Serve hot with onion rings and green chutney

POTATO CORN CAKE





Ingredients
potatoes-4 par- boiled
corn krnels-1cup boiled
onion-1
green chili-1
green peas-2tbsp(optional)boiled
coriander leaves
butter-1tbsp
amul cream 1tbsp
amul cheese-1tbsp
lemon juice-1tbsp
amul butter for frying
salt to taste

Method
heat butter in a pan and saute the onion. Add all the ingredients in grated potatoes and mix well
.
assemble all and make a square shape.now heat a non stick pan heat little butter and fry one side golden brown.when done fry other side. can be  roasted in small desired pieces


this can be done in a oven roast both sides its taste is better than non stick.but here i make in non stick

When ready cut into pieces and serve with peanut chutney or tomato sauce!!!!!!!!

Coco nuts cake

                                                                             
Ingredients
all purpose flour-2cups
oil-3/4 cup
sugar-1cup
mixed nuts-1/2 cup
eggs-3
baking powder-1 1/2 tsp
baking soda-1/2 tsp
coco powder-3tsp
vanilla essence-1/2 tsp

Method
Mix eggs,sugar,oil in  mixi jar and churnk for five minutes.add vanilla essence to it.sieve maida with baking powderand baking soda.now add egg paste to this flour lightly.add nuts to it and mix well.grease baking pan with oil and pour the cake paste and bake for 5 minutes in microwave cake.
It is ready to it....
