Today we start the 2nd edition of blog hop Wednesday .last seven week we enjoyed very much cook and share other bloggers recipes .meet many new friends and their recipes. Radhika has done a great job to introduced such a nice event.we are thankful to her.this week i am paired with Saraswati of saras's kitchen. She has wonderful space with all variates of cuisine.her blog has many innovative recipes. So visit her blog and enjoy delicious dishes. Though there are many recipes but i choose gulb jamun which i bookmarked already and i make them on Diwali.it is really a hit.I here make one change. I used paneer in this which make the kala jam its taste is little different and i think u all like it.
dry milk-1-1/2 cup
maida -1/3 cup
suji-2tbsp
paneer-4tbsp
butter-1tbsp
baking soda-1/8 tsp
milk-1/2cup
oil for fry
For syrup
sugar 2 cup
water-1-1/2 cup
cardamon-3-4
Method
soak suji in water for -5 minutes and drain the water.mix milk ,maida and baking soda.add butter and rub it with hands.now add suji ,paneer and milk little by little and make smooth paste which make balls.
For syrup boil water add sugar and cardamon into it . boiled till sugar dissolved boil another 5 minutes so syrup becomes thick.
now make balls of dough and keep aside.heat oil in a pan on slow fire. fry balls in oil slowly so it fry inside also.put all the balls in sugar syrup &and remain in syrup for 4-5 hours .
now it is ready to eat
eat hot it gives u more taste.
TIP
When we used paneer the color of gulabjmun become dark . that is why we called them kala jam.
