This recipe i saw in Savith's blog .I bookmark it and now i tried. it really has nice taste and it becomes the full meal .
Ingredients:
idly batter-2cups (not old but fresh)
potatoes-1cup boiled and mashed
peas-2tbsp boiled
green chilly-1
tomato-1 chopped finely
turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
coriander powder-1/2 tsp
red chili powder-1/4 tsp
gram masala-1/4 tsp
amchoor-1/4 tsp
cummin seeds-1/4 tsp
oil-2tbsp
salt to taste
Method:
Heat oil in a pan and add cummin seeds when splutter add tomato. when tomato fry add all the masala and fry for 1 minute.Add potatoes and mix well.Mix coriander leaves.
Now poure little idly batter in idly stand add potato ball. after that poure some batter on it. fill all the idly stands and steam it till idly done.
Yummy and hot idlys are ready to eat.
Eat with chutney!!!!!!!!!!!
