this is another month of SNC. we enjoyed it and meet our blogger friend every month. thinks to Divya who is started this wonderful event.this month challenge is given by Divya herself .i liked the recipe as it is used as dessert which very light to eat and easy to make. Divya has wonderful space. her presentation of each recipe is super. i think every one like to visit her blog.
i am the part of northidian group
Ingredients
yellow moong dal-1cup
milk-1cup
coconut---1/2 cup grinding
green cardamon-2 crushed
jaggary-3/4 cup
desi ghee-2tbsp
cashew nut---2tbsp
Method
Mash it with masher.
add milk to it and mix well. put it on slow fire and boil it for 2 minutes.add jaggery to it and boil for 1mniute. here i used sugar as jaggery is not available. after that add grinding coconut and cardamon. boil for 2 minutes
. add pinch of yellow color. switchoff the stove.
heat ghee in a pan and fry cashew nut.
Now serve hot or cold payasam decorated with cashew nut........
