Burghul Pilaf......Lebanese style .. blog hope wednesday




This is another week of blog hope wednesday started by Radhika.today i am paired
with
Nayna Kanbar of simply food.she has a fantastic blog with creativity.she is master of carving we can see the carving in fruits &vegetables.she organise many events .there are different type cuisine.u must visit her blog to find many innovative things for ur blog.though the
re are many recipes i like but i choose this dish bec she has won gold prize in one magazine.i used cracked wheat as we call daliya though burghul is also cracked wheat but process is dife
rent.i make little variation .Original recipe is here

Ingredients
wheat burghul-150 gm
water 300gm
blacl chickpea-1/2 cup
onion-1chopped
capsicum-in different color i used green only-1
tomato-1chopped
garlic-4cloves crushed
green chili-1
cinnamon 1/2 tsp
cumminseeds-1/2
turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
lemon juice-1tbsp
oil
salt to taste

Method
roast burghul.heat oil in a pan add cumminseeds& cracked add onion and fry..add garlic and green chili.now fry capsicum in this. add dry masalas and chickpea..add burghul and water when boiled slow the fire. cover it till done. it will looks like pilaf.
Garnish with coriander leaves........
