Methi Moong dal Fritters....BLOG HOP WEDNESDAY






I am happy that i have hit 300 blogger friends.This is the last post of blog hop wednesday of this year. this is started by Radhika this is really very interesting event as we know the other bloggers culinary and learn many things,met many new friends.Today i am paired with Deeksha .She has wonderful space with different Delicious recipes. She is also very good in behavior as i saw in whole event she visited every blog and comment . i appreciate her effort. As the purpose of this event is we come close and share the ideas with each other .we must visit every blogger those are part of this event. Tough there are many recipes in her blog which i am not tried but i choose this recipe bec in winter fritters or pakoras areliking by every one



.It is different as methi is used in moong dal.it is delicious u must try and visit Deeksha's blog
Ihere make some changes as i make it like kabab and used whole green moong dal .






Ingredients
green moong dal-200gm
methi one bunch
ginger garlic paste-1tsp
green chili-2
thyme-1/2 tsp
onion-2
zeera-1/2 tsp
gram masala-1/4 tsp
red chili powder-1/2 tsp
oil for fry








Method
soak dal for 4-5 hours. drain water and grind it without water. cut methi. finely.Add all the ingredients and mix well and make like kabab consistency. make balls or oval shape.Heat oil in a pan and fry on slow fire .The hot fritters are ready to eat
Eat with green chutney or sauce!!!!!!!!!!

Matar paneer.......


Winter is the season of veggies specialy peas carrot .though we get whole yearfrozen peas but fresh peas has its own taste.in this recipe i do not fry onion masala but boil it and puree it . so in this way it gets less time less oil and taste is yum...
INGREDIENTS
Peas-1/2 kg
onion -2
tomatoes 2big
ginger-garlic paste -1tsp
paneer 200gm
watermelon seeds
kasuri methi-1tsp
turmeric powder-/2 tsp
coriander powder-1tsp
 red chili powder-1/2 tsp
garam masala-1.4 tsp
coriander leaves
oil 2tbsp
METHOD
Soak watermelon seed in water for 1hour .Grind it in fine pste.cut tomatoes and onions in big pieces and boil it in pressure cooker for 5minutes cool it and grind to ine paste.

heat oil in a pan fry gingergarlic paste .Add all dry masalas and kasuri methi .Add onion paste and seeds paste and fry it till the smell of pste disapear. it will take oonly 5-6 minutes. Add peas and paneer and 3cup water. and if using pressure cooker cook for 2-3 wistle and let the steam release.then open the cooker and add garam masala .if want to use cream add in it garnish with coriander leaves.
eat with chapati nan or mssi roti.....

7 MINUTES VANNILA CAKE



..
. Christmas is one that comes out in the silence
 of our hearts with tenderness and warms
the hearts of those who accompany
 us on our journey through life.


Today is christmas and i think of making a simple and ghatpat cake. though this is not our festival but now we mix with each other that we respect each others celebration. so merry christmas to all and their family.
Ingredient :
maida-2cups
sugar -1cup
refined oil or butter-3/4 cup
eggs-3
curd 2tbsp
baking powder-1 1/2 tsp
baking soda-1/2 tsp
dry fruit -tutty fruty raisins almond chew nut--3/4 cup
vanilla essence-1tsp

Method:
Mix eggs oil and sugar and blend in the mixi for five minutes 2-3 times. Add essence and curd and blend for 1 minute.Sieve the flour and baking powder and soda.Now add flour in the batter in one pan.Mix well with wooden spoon.
Bake for 7 minutes in microwave. test it with any stick.
Easy and ghat pat cake is ready.Cool it.


FOR ICING;
Icing sugar-1cup
white butter-50gm
vanilla essence-1/2 tsp

colour
Method:
Mix sugar and butter and blend it till it becomes fluffy.Add essence and decorate according to ur choice

Apple-Compote-Financiers.









The name of the recipe is very big confusion for me when i raed it in Priti's blog . the recipe is very easy little art is required.it looks very attractive . though i do not make100% but if make it next time it will come out perfect.it is muffins adding apples.



Ingredients:

apple 2

sugar-200 gm

water-300 gm

green cardamon-2 Cinnamon stick-1small
For muffins

maida-2cups

sugar 150 gm

oil or butter-100 gm

vanilla essence-1tsp

baking powder-1 tsp
baking soda-1/3tsp





Method:
Wash apple and cut inti thin slices.heat water in a pan add sugar . when sugar dissolved add thin slices in it .Boil till tender apples.Now drain the pieces and keep aside.boil the remaining syrup and make it thick for glazing



Method for muffins
cream sugar and butter.add egg and whisk it.add maida baking powder,baking soda,essence.mix well
fill the muffins mould 3/4..Now take the pieces of apples and arrange like roses on top of the batter of muffins mould.bake it for 2 minutes in microwave .rather it will take less time ,it depends on the size of moulds. if u bake it oven it will take more times15-20 minutes.now coole the muffins.glaze with thick syrup.

Few hours.......full of enjoyment,memorable


INDIBLOGGER MEET IN DELHI

On 11th Dec there was a indiblogger meeting. I have food blog first i thought that it was useless for me because there were other field bloggers. But at last i went there and it was a thrilled movement for me as we met bloggers on their pages ,here we met them personally.I was overwhelmbed when some bloggers recognised me and my blog It is well organised meet .first of all there is introduction.After that HP PRINTER people told about there product which is very useful for all.

                  there is one game that every group had to scan the hp printer from sticker.which group had  won get hp printer.After that there is one talk show on politician which was enjoyed by every one.

              I think these meeting are close us and share the ideas with each other
The youngest blogger is of 11years old


                      On the whole it had a great fun. many bloggers were given printers and pen drives and i also get one pen drive.It is well organised event and for this i am thank full INDIBLOGGER ORGANISED TEAM andHP PRINTER TEAM.

Barley Mint soup



Today is the 4thweek of blog hop Wednesday started by Radhika Today i am paired with ANU OF  ANU'S HEALTHY KITCHEN.She has three blogs . separate blog of baking and healthy tips. u must visit to find bundle of things in our day-today life. she organised many events.though there are so many recipes i choose but this impress me most and more over i was thinking to cook with barley.as it has very nutritious value ;U READ IT HERE

Ingredients
barley-1cup
ginger-garlic paste-1tsp
onion-1chopped
tomatoes-3finely chopped
tomato paste-1/2 tsp
black pepper-1/2 tsp
red chili-1/4 tsp
cumminseeds powder-1/2 tsp
lemon juice-1lemon
mint-1/4 cup finely chopped
oil- 1tbsp

Method
Iused Pearl parley it is processed barley easily available.Soak barley f0r 3-4 hours.
heat oil in pressure cooker.add ginger garlic paste. saute until brown add onion and saute it for 2-3 minutes.add tomatoes paste and dry masalas and fry. cover it till tomatoes become soft.Now add barely and water and pressure it for 2-3 whistle or till it is done. when steam is out open it and mix well. add lemon juice and mint mix again.
It is really nor like soup or stew as Anu said.So she named it stoup.its taste is super
Serve hot!!!!!!

Cabbage Peas Easy Stire.............


Ingredients
cabbage-1cup
peas-1/4cup
cumminseeds-1.4tsp
green chili-1-2
tomato-1small cut into small pieces
coriander powder-1/2 tsp
turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
gram-masala-1/4 tsp
salt to taste
oil 2tbsp
coriander leaves

Method:
wash cabbage and cut finely.Heat oil in a pan add zeera when crackled add cabbage peas and tomato.Mix well.Now add all the dry masalas except garam masala and green chlli.mix it and cover it.stire inbetween. cabbage has water so we do not use extra water.when peas tender swichoff gas. add gram masala and garnish with coriander leaves.
Eat with pratha or chapati or side dish with rice.......
