DELHI CHAT&DIWALI CELEBRATION



Idid  not post any recipe for few days bec of Diwali. I celebrated Diwali with my whole family and their friends with great enthusiasm. On this diwali i prepared Delhi chat including papri dhi bhalla and pani-puri.
Rangoli in my house
DHI-BHALLA
Ingredients:
urd dal-1cup
curd-3cpus
roasted zeera powder-2tsp
red chili powder-1tsp
black salt-1/2 tsp
ginger and coriander leaves-3tsp
tamrid mithi chutney-1/2cup
salt to taste
pinch of hing
oil for fry

METHOD:
Soak dal for 4-5 hours.
Grind with one green chili[optional]
Add ginger green coriander to the paste.
Whisk paste with spoon or hand so it becomes light.If the paste is light dahi bhalla is very soft and tasty.
Heat oil in a kadai
Take 1tbsp of batter in Palm and flatten it.Make whole in between and fry all



Soak in the salted water till soft
Whisk the curd and add the bhalla one by one and arrange in the dish Mix all the masalas and sprinkle on them.eat with mithi chutney.
PAPRI
ingredients:
maida-1cup
rawa[suji]1/4 cup
oil for moian-3tbsp
thyme-1/2 tsp
curd--250gm
potatoes-3-4boiled and cut into small piecies
roasted zeera,red chili powder black salt---1/1/2tsp
salt to taste
oil for fry
Method
Mix all the ingredients except oil for fry and make a hard dough.It is not soft as puries. Keep aside for 1/2 an hour. Now make big ball and roll it very thin.now take  small cutter and cut from whole roll.  Make small cut in each papri.deep fry it in slow fire.

Dip the papri in curd.Add potatoes on the top Sprinkle all the masalas over it
Eat with  mithi chutney


PANI-PURI
For pani
2-3 tbsp MDHpani-puri masala
Coriander leaves and ginger-2tbsp
Tam rid pulp--2-3 tbsp
Method:
Mix all the ingredients in water Add bundi in it [optional
Panipuri bought from market
potatoes-boiled and cut into small pieces.
Eat pani puri and enjoy
