BITTERGOURD& POTATO


Bitter gourd contains vitamin A, B1, B2, and C. It also contains minerals like calcium,phosphorous, iron, copper and potassium. From the ayurvedic perspective, bitter gourd is excellent for balancing Kapha. It helps purify blood tissue, enhances digestion, and stimulates the liver.It is veryuseful for dibetic patients

Ingredients:
bittergourd-250gm
potato-2
onion-2
coriander powder-1tsp
red chilippowder-1/2tsp
turmeric powder-1/2tsp
amchoor[dry mango powder]1/2 tsp
garam masala-1/2 tsp
meeti seeds-1t
salt to taste
mustered oil-4tbsp
Method:
Peel bittergourd.Rub salt and leave for one hour.Wash and wipe .
Cut into lenth wise.

Slice onions.

Cut potato also lenthwise.


Heat oil in a kadai,add methi seeds.


Add kerala and mix well.cover it and cook for 10 minutes.Stire for 1or 2 times in between.


Now add onion and  potato and put all the masalas except garam masala and amchoor.


Mix well.Cover it and cook till done.Add amchoor and garam masala.
Eat with chapati or pratha



TIP
Adding potato in bittergourd become less bitter and taste more childern also eat them.
Apply salt on bittergourd also lessening the bitternss
