STUFFED TINDA(indian round gourd)AWARD TIME

Tinda is north India dish known as Indian round gourd. It is found in north India specially Punjab and Delhi.Now we can see it  in south in big stores Its taste is like ridge gourd.  Stuffed tinda is verygood in taste .If u never eat then  try it .
TINDA
Ingredients:
tinda-250gm
onion-2 grated
tomatoes-2puree
ginger-garlic paste 1tbsp
termuric powder-1/2 tsp
red chili powder-1/2 tsp
coriander powder-1tsp
garam masala powder-1/4 tsp
salt to taste
oil-3tbsp
green coriander for garnishing
Method:
Peel the tinda.Cut into 4 pieces but remain full.Mix all the  masalas.
Fill the masalas in between the  tindas.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the onion.

When onion transparent add ginger-garlic paste and stuffed tindas in it. Fry for 5  minutes .


Add tomatoes puree.Fry till oil leave the sides of pan.

Add little water and cover it for 10 minute and cook on slow fire. Stire in between.When it is done switchoff the stove.
Garnish with  green coriander
Eat with roti or pratha

  7. Thanks and you too!!! I miss not eating tindas here,the indian store in my vicinity does not carry Tinda's. This tinda subji looks terribly delicious, and they look so soft and tender:)
