Papaya subji


As we know the papaya is very good for health In jaundice Dr advice it to eat in any form. subji of green papaya has nutritious value.
Ingredients
papaya-1/2 kg
onion 3 cut into lenth wise
tomatoes 2
coriander powder=1tsp
red chili powder-1/2 tsp
garam masala--1/2 tsp
coriander leaves
salt to taste
oil2tbsp
Method
cut papaya into square pieces and boil in pressure cooker for one whistle
Heat oil in a pan and fry onion till transulate add tomatoes and fry til oil comes out add ll the masalas and fry.Add boiled papaya and cover it. satire in between. when done add garam masala.
Garnish with green dhania
Eat with chapati or pratha

Shai Paneer



Ingredients
paneer250 gm
onion-3uree
tomato puree-3tomatoes
ginger garlic paste-2tsp
kasuri methi-1tsp
capsicum-1
curd 2tbsp
paneer crushed-2tbsp
coriander powder-1tbsp
red chili powder 1/2 tsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
garam masala-1/2tsp
coriander leaves
salt to taste
oil-4tbsp

Method
Heat oil in a pan add onion  and fry after 5 minutes add ginger garlic paste and capsicum.
When onion become light brown add tomato puree. fry till oil comes out.
Now add all masalas except gram  masala.
Add kasuri methi and fry
Add curd and crushed. paneer fry for 2-3 minutes.Add paneer and 2cups water ad cover it.stire in between
when i see in sides it means it is ready. add garam masala
Garnish with green dhania
eat with chapati nan or puri

Papad Samosa





Today is the last day of the blogging Marathon


This recipe i saw on internet when i searching for starter dishes for the event. it is easy and no time taking taste is good !!
ingredients
papad-3
potatoes-250 gm boiled and mashed
cumin seeds-1/4 tsp
coriander seeds and powder-1/2 tsp
red chili powder-1/4 tsp
green chili-2
coriander leaves-
dry mango powder1/2 tsp
gram masala-1/4 tsp
salt to taste
oil-2tbsp
Method
heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds  coriander seeds when splutter add all the masalas and fry for 1 minute

then add potatoes and coriander leaves mix well and keep aside for cool.




Now take papad and wet in water and keep aside. (do not leave papad more than one minute in water.) after 2 minutes papad become soft

 cut into halfs. make a samosa shape and fill with potato mixture and seal it with maida water.


Heat oil in kadie an deep fry samsa on slow fire it will not take much time to fry.drain and put on napkin so it absorb the oil.Its taste is superb and can be make in rolls.
Variation---it can be microwave with brushing oil on it if u do not want to fry.
Hot crispy  samosa is ready Eat with green chutney or sauce!!!!!

CAULIFLOWER FRITTERS (pakora)

TODAY IS 6TH DAY OF SIRIVALLI'S BLOGGING MARTHON
In winter i think nobody is scared with gobhi pakora many times we make it and it is really good snack or starter.


Ingredients;
Gobhi florets-10-15
basin-11/2 cup
coriander powder-1tsp
thyme-1/4 tsp
amchoor powder (dry mango powder) 1/4 tsp
red chili powder1/2tsp
green chili-2curshed
coriander leaves
gram masala 1/4 tsp
salt to tase
oil for fry

Method:
Mix all he ingredients in a bowl and make a smooth paste using water
In the mean time microwave 5 minutes gobhi with water. drain the water and keep aside so that water Will dry.
Heat oil in a kdaie when hot dip the gobhi in bsean and fry on medium fire bec it will take tme. fry till gobhi  3/.4done. now press the pieces and and again fry it.by doing this pakora will be more crispy.
Eat with green chutney&tomato sauce!!!!!!!!

SPANICH DUMPLING&5TH DAY

This the 5th day of Sirivalli's BLOGGING MARTHON


4 cups spinach leaves
 4 tablespoons wheat flour...
4 cups spinach leaves
4 tablespoons wheat flour
2 tablespoons  bengal gram flour (besan)
2 tablespoons semolina (rava)
2 teaspoons  each of chopped ginger and garlic
4 green chilli chopped fine
1 teaspoons  cumin seeds
½ teaspoons  each of turmeric powder and soda bi-carb
2 tablespoons - chopped coriander leaves
1 tablespoons  lemon juice
1 tablespoons fresh cream
2 tablespoos ) oil
salt and pepper to taste

Method
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl. Mix well and knead into a soft dough using water.
Divide the dough into portions and make a thin long roll with each portion.  here i put the batter intoidily mould and steamed it is easy and simple method to steam.
Steam for about 20 minutes. Cool and cut into slices.

Variation: If you wish to have crisp spinach dumplings, deep fry the slices to a golden brown color.
Eat with greenhutney or tomato sauce
